This Saturday share is going to be shorter then normal. This past week has been a drag here. Our schedule is all messed up, the boys miss their “normal” Mommy (so do I) and we’ve just been trudging along.
We had two really great days when I felt okay enough to get outside and do something. The boys have been loving their turtle sandbox. Aidan is just loving being able to “do” whatever his big brother can. He climbs the play set like a pro now but has become hesitant towards the slide because he can’t quite get how to hold his shoulders and head up. He kept bonking himself the other day so Mommy volunteered to give him a ride down…and we flew down and OFF the slide….Aidan laughed and laughed…I rubbed my butt and groaned.
Jacek did not want to leave school on Thursday. He fought me pretty hard to stay. His teacher had her eyebrows raised and was like, “Ive never seen this side of him.” I guess that’s good but it took every ounce I had not to yell. I had just gotten my first set of sutures put in earlier and I was at my wits end. He finally realized we were going home regardless but man, he puts up a fight.
Here’s the long and short of what’s going on inside my mouth. I got a wisdom tooth extracted. Now it is revealed that my sinus floor has a defect. It doesn’t quite cover the entire region that it’s supposed to. So, upon extracting the tooth I now have a clear hole running straight into my sinus cavity, which is called Oro Antral Fistula. This is not good and needs to remedied rather promptly. I got stitches put in on Thursday and they ruptured Friday morning. I went back on Friday and got super strength triple braided stitches put in. I’ve been in a lot of pain and was ordered not to do much talking let alone yelling. Hmm…that’s a tricky thing to do with little ones, right?
Basically, if these super strength stitches don’t work then I will have to get surgery to fix the floor of my sinus cavity. It sounds like a rather intrusive operation. Let’s all hope it doesn’t have to go there. Okay, k!
Darren stayed home on Friday. I was very grateful. It’s hard not to talk to your children when they are sitting right next to you. It’s been an aggravating experience but am hopeful it will be coming to an end by the end of next week. Although he just walked in from mowing the lawn and grabbed himself a nice cold beer….hmm…there’s a word that I would say…but I won’t.
Here’s a few pics of some of the tulips near the front of our house. I keep meaning to snip some and bring them inside to brighten up the house a bit. (I have new pics of me or the boys…flowers will have to do!)

My fabric curtain doesn't come out of the wash very well so I wash it very rarely.
Interrogation would have to be about whether it was me who finished the last chocolate in the house.
LOL! on the chocolate interrogation. I was wondering what would happen to my shower curtain if I washed it…it says machine washable but yeah…not sure about that! Thanks for coming to the party!!!!!!!

I do not wash my fabric curtain…well, I have not yet anyways…I dust it off weekly and spray it with lysol…looks and smells good, so it must be clean?? RIGHT?!?!?! lol
I get interrogated all the time, but my last serious one was an honest to goodness poooo–leece man…lmao…sho' nuff…ah well…heehee
I have no question I can think of for Darren about you….hmmm…really is a hard one…ooh ooh ok I have one.. When Kerri posts all those yummy sounding menus, do the meals actually taste as good as she makes them out to be? lol…that's a good question
And Kerri don't worry about not being able to drink alcohol,…I will drink your share too only 'cause I love you!! :p Gonna be rough, but that's what sisters do…
Well, I have three small boys going to the bathroom right next to the shower curtain so let's just say it gets washed on a regular basis. Not sure on the interrogation. Being the only girl in the house, I seem to be able to slide by on most things. Ha. Have a great weekend and congrats on hitting 200!
hmm..I guess I could dust ours off and spray it too…better then nothing I guess. It looks clean but really?!? It's in the bathroom and I have two boys..well, 3…lol

Well thanks! Unfortunately I'm not doing much better. Some of the extra strength sutures did break part of the hole is open again. Called dentist who assured to relax and to let my body try to heal it on it's own for a week or so. I have to keep it clean, not get sick and hopefully avoid surgery! I am doing what he advised and trying to take it easy.

We don’t have a fabric shower curtain, and I’ve always used plastic ones, so I can’t answer that question. As for the second question … “What happened to the last cookie?” (I’m pleading the Fifth on that.)

I've had a cloth shower curtain before, I washed it probably monthly, but I washed the liner far more often.
As for what I'd be interrogated for, probably to help them find whoever DID cause the crime. I can't lie and growing up I was the kid they went to in order to rat out the other kids. It wasn't that I was a snitch, it was that i can't keep secrets very well.
