– Darren accidentally buzzed his hair way short the other night. I had always worried how he would look “bald” but I think it’s safe to say we’re gonna have “fun” until we’re old and grey.
- I really, really, really like to shop at Target. I mean, really.
- Jacek will be having a “moving-up” ceremony (graduating from Early Pre-K) at the end of the month. He’s getting so big! I’m so proud of him.
- The answer to my question about whether or not I should continue to work part time on the weekends when Jacek starts full day Pre-K became crystal clear to me last weekend. I love when things all of a sudden just make sense.
- I’m celebrating my 5th Mother’s Day this weekend. Five already? Wow.
- When I went to pick up Jacek from school yesterday he came running out with a pink petunia in a Styrofoam cup that was decorated with foam stickers. He also made a cute card on which he had drawn two stick figures, one is me and one is him. I hope we always stick together.
- Aidan gave me his gift the other day too. I have officially been upgraded from Ba-Pee. Check it out below! I got it on video!!!!
- Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mommy’s out there. Enjoy your day.
1. What is your worst memory of your siblings?
I have two older sisters. They used to beat the poo outta me. The oldest sprained my wrist once because she didn’t want me calling our Mom to tattle tale on her. She grabbed my wrist to stop me from turning the door knob to get inside the house to use the phone.
Both sisters to gang up on me, pin me down and put a bean bag over my head THEN they would sit on top of the bean bag and laugh and tickle me or punch me.
I could hear my Dad calling, “Girls, what’s going on in there?”
And them, all sweetly and nicely replying, “Nothing Dad”. While I kicked and screamed to no avail.
Remember that show, Family Double Dare?
I so wanted to go on that when I was a kid and watch my parents get slimed.
I’m not really sure what game shows are “cool” these days. I haven’t watched Wheel of Fortune in years but maybe that or The Price is Right.

I just ran across a video the other day of my son…he saw it and asked me what was that bad haircut about. It was a pretty long time ago, but I'm pretty sure it was a botched haircut.

Double Dare was awesome as I kid I would droll over dreaming of being in that show! I always wanted to jump into that big cake, or search through the messy pizza looking for a flag! My hubby wants to go on that funny game show that is on now with the obstacle course…crap I forgot what its called!

I love those boys! How cute are they? My son and his wife's 3rd child was their boy and his name is Aidan too. (Took me 8 years to learn how to spell his name.) They now have 3 girls and Aidan. Whew! So glad to see the end of that parade! LOL!
