Today I want you to spend some time with someone.
When I first began this “blogging thing”, Melissa was the first to make me jump up and down by awarding me with my first blogging award EVEAH!!
She is also among the few blogging buddies that I remain in contact with today and one whom (who?) I will continue to check in on weekly (if not daily).
I do not know her. I have never met her but from her words alone I know that she is a beautiful person, inside and out.
I still remember when I read her post in May of this year, Three Little Words.
Darren and I were riding in the van somewhere not important enough to recall and my phone dinged alerting me to an newly arrived email.
After reading the email I decided to catch up on “my daily blogs” and Melissa’s, Frugal Creativity, has always been on that list.
The three little words were not little at all.
I read them in disbelief.
It is scary when someone so similar to yourself begins to go though something so unimaginable.
As her walk with cancer began she wrote as often as she could.
She shared with us bits and pieces of the story.
In June, in a post titled, 7 Things I’ve Learned from Breast Cancer, she made me laugh.
I smiled, happy to read humor in her reads and to know that she was doing okay.
She taught me that learning never stops, no matter the teacher.
I urge you to pay a visit to Melissa and to read her words.
I promise you, they sometimes almost sing, at least to me they do.
