My youngest son turns 4 today.

These birthday interviews are always the same or very similar questions and are done a day or two before an upcoming birthday.

What is your name? Um, Aidan Laurence Brennan Kwiatkowski!!

If you could change your name, what name would you pick?
Like, Jacek….(giggling)

Why Jacek?
Cuz I like Jacek

How old are you? 7

You’re seven? Yep.

I thought you were 3?

I’m not 3, I’m 7!

How old are you going to be on your birthda? Um, six

Aren’t you going to be 4?

Y E S!!

Are you excited about being 4?
Yeah

Why?

Cuz I like it.

What is your favorite:
cereal – Pops (corn pops)
vegetable – broccoli

drink – Yoda Soda (these were Capri Suns with Yoda Soda labels I made for Jacek’s 6th birthday)

toy – Batmans
TV Show – Wii

game – Mario Kart

What is your favorite book? – train books
restaurant – Pizza ones

holiday – Halloween

What about Halloween do you like? Cuz I like all the scary persons.

animal – Dinosaurs

Why do you like dinosaurs? Cuz they are very awesome.

What do you like most about yourself? I like my Aidan sounds.

Why? Because I like them so much.

What sounds? Cuz I make dinosaur sounds.

What is your favorite thing to do? When we read books.

What is something you DON’T like to do? I don’t like getting shots.

What do you dream about? I dream about dinosaurs.

Is that scary? Yes

What do you want to be when you are a grown up? I want to do dishes.

If you could go anywhere you want, where would you go? Mcdonalds.

What do you like most about Mommy? I like Mommy to hug.
How old is your Mommy? Um. 6
What is something Mom always says to you? “We need to go somewhere”

How do you know your mom loves you? Cuz you love me so much

But how do you know? you hug me. A lot!

What makes mom happy? When I hug you
What makes mom sad? When I hurt JJ.
How does your mom make you laugh? You tickle me

What is your moms favorite thing to do? Like, play a game.

What is your mom really good at? You’re good at playing games
What is your mom not very good at? Not good at playing outside

What does your mom do for her job? Um, you do dishes.
What makes you proud of your mom? Cuz I say when I say when you say, Um….when you say I need to go anywhere
What do you and your mom do together? do games

Where is your mom’s favorite place to go? Go to football
What is Mommy going to do while you’re at school? Still be here.

What is your Dad’s favorite food? Um. Chicken. A lot of chicken

How are you and Daddy the same? We have the same ideas.

How are you and your Dad different? I’m little and he’s big
What is Daddy’s favorite sport? Um. Footballl!

How strong is Daddy? Um. He is very strong.
How do you know when Daddy is proud of you? Cuz he makes me laugh

What do you like most about Jacek? He plays with me

What do you like to do with JJ? Play not wake up Daddy (board game)
What do you like to eat for lunch? Jelly and peanut butter

What do you wish we did more of? Um. Video.

Name two things you want us to do as a family on the weekend? Um. Play Leapsters and other games

What is something you want to do that you’ve never done before? (He struggled with this one and got all upset. Really upset.)

I don’t want to do anything.

Why?

Cuz I don’t want to get bigger.
